Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Alice Joyce Landry LeJeune, 79, who died Monday, January 12, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Mitchell Guidry officiating the services.

She is survived by one son, Tommy LeJeune and his wife, Cecile of Gueydan; two daughters, Ramona "R.L." Lopez of Abbeville and Cynthia L. Theriot and her husband Bart of Butte LaRose; five grandchildren, Courtney L. Wall and her husband Benjamin, Lindsey Allison LeJeune and her fiance Mark Christian, Nycole Plaisance Wilmore and her husband Mark, Tabor Theriot, and Colin Theriot; three great grandchildren, Gracie, Ava, and John Thomas Wall; two step-great grandchildren, Brittany and Dylan Wilmore; and her sister, Margia Lege and her husband Purvis of Gueydan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland F. LeJeune; her parents, Whitney Landry and the former Ozite Vincent; her brother, Chester Landry; and one daughter, Mary Elaine LeJeune.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Monday, January 12, 2009 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.; Tuesday, January 13, from 8 a.m. until services.
