Mary Louise Hardee

April 12, 1925 — January 14, 2009

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Gueydan First United Methodist Church honoring the life of Mary Louise Hardee, 83, who died Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at American Legion Hospital.
She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Rev. Doug Milliron officiating the services.

She is survived by three sons, Dwight Hardee and his wife Rowena of Gueydan, Richard Hardee and his wife Becky of Gueydan, and Larry Hardee and his wife Patricia of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Ina and husband Farell Woods of Gueydan; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Saxton Gandy and the former Elba Corrinn Weakly; three sisters, Sarah B. Gandy, Frances Gandy and Elba Gandy.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Friday, January 16, 2009 from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visition will continue at the Gueydan Methodist Church, 501 Main Street, on Saturday, January 17, from 8 a.m. until services.
