Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Sheila Begnaud Schexneider, 59, who died Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Ochsner Medical Center of Baton Rouge. She will be laid to rest at Hebert Cemetery with Brother Rodney Begnaud officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Schexneider Sr. of Kaplan; three sons, Michael Simon, Stephen Simon, and Larry Schexneider Jr., all of Kaplan; two daughters, Brandi Buford and Lisa Simon, both of Kaplan; one stepson, Lane Schexneider of Kaplan; one brother, Rodney Begnaud of Olla; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Begnaud and the former Sybil Hebert; and one brother, Earl Begnaud.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, January 19, 2009 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.; Tuesday, January 20, from 8 a.m. until services.
