Jean “Pierre” Touchet

September 15, 1934 — June 18, 2015

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Jean Lauris Touchet, 80, who died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Brother Lee Rodgers officiating the services.

He is survived by his three sons, Bill Touchet and his wife, Jennifer of Abbeville, Roger Touchet and his wife, Lora of Nunez, and Preston Lee Touchet, Sr. of Kaplan; one daughter, Jeri Lynn Touchet of Nunez; one sister, Theresa Marceaux of Kaplan; three brothers, Amos Touchet, Thomas Touchet, and Billy Touchet, all of Kaplan; eleven grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Touchet; and his parents Adrian Dallas Touchet and Marie Bernice Touchet.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.; Friday, June 19, 2015 from 8 a.m. until services.
