Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Preston Joseph Broussard, 97, who died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Rev. Mark Miley officiating the services.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann and her husband, Whitney Romero, Jr. of Kaplan; one sister, Doris and her husband, Jay Baker of Jennings; one daughter-in-law, Deanna H. Broussard of Gueydan; three sisters-in-law, Lillias Ebner of Beaumont, TX, Aline Broussard of Kaplan, and Dorothy Mae Broussard of MS; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura F. Broussard; one son, Preston Broussard, Jr.; one grandson, P.J. Broussard, III; his parents, Walter Broussard and the former Ella Baudoin; and three brothers, Roy, Thomas, and Sabrey Broussard, Sr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 9 a.m. until services with a rosary being prayed at 11 a.m.
