Scripture readings will be recited by Becky Soirez and Shelanne Richard. Pallbearers will be Kevin Savoy, Chad Savoy, Kodi Savoy, Jude Soirez, Christopher Hebert, Justin Toups, and Robert "Boo" Savoy, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Jadon Soirez, Logan Savoy, Ethan Savoy, and Jabian Savoy. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
A native and resident of Abbeville, Mrs. Savoy passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2015, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, Louisiana,
Survivors include her husband, Aubrey J. Savoy, Jr. of Abbeville; three daughters, Becky Soirez and her husband, Jude of Erath, Tiffany Savoy and Tina Savoy, both of Abbeville; two sons, Kevin Savoy and his wife, Melissa of Midland, Texas, and Chad Savoy and his wife, Victoria of Abbeville; eight grandchildren, Morghan Soirez, Jadon Soirez, Kodi Savoy, Ashley Savoy, Logan Savoy, Ethan Savoy, Jabian Savoy, and Alexis Savoy; two sisters, Betty Cormier of Erath, and Martharine Segura and her husband, Lodger of Franklin; one brother, Adam Conner and his wife, Mary of Erath; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rena Frederick Theriot; father, Wilson "Tan" Theriot; two sisters, Rita "Bonnie" Theriot Hebert and Louella Theriot Trahan; mother-in-law, Adella F. Savoy; father-in-law, Obray Savoy; sister-in-law, Leona Hardy; and brothers-in-law, Rodney Savoy, Shelby Cormier and Raymond Hebert.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be prayed at noon.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center for their compassionate care during Helen's last days.
