Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Alfrida Landry Leger, 94, who died Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and caretakers of several years, Billy and Geri McDonald.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raoul Leger; her parents, Ambroise Landry and Rena Landry; and brothers, Willie, Fred and Phillip Landry.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, February 2, 2009 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, February 3, from 8 a.m. until services.
