Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Cody James Trahan, 31, who died Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Stephen Ugwu officiating the services.

He is survived by his father, Obray Trahan Jr. and his wife, Brenda of League City, TX; his mother, Carmen and her husband, Robert Perryman of Kaplan; two sisters, Carissa and her husband, Blake Simon of Kaplan and Camille and her husband, Adrian Williams of Kaplan; his brother, Chase Trahan and his fiancee, Laci Judge of Kaplan; his maternal grandfather, Shelton Saltzman of Kaplan; and six nieces and nephews, Tegan, Luke, Kinzlee, Paizlee, Zavier, and Cruz.

He was preceded in death by his companion, Jared Lejeune; his maternal grandmother, Clara Saltzman; and his paternal grandparents, Obray Trahan Sr. and the former Dorothy Kershaw.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 9 a.m. until services. A rosary will be prayed at 11 a.m.
