Kaplan — Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2015 at Kaplan Cemetery honoring the life of Herbert Rost, 80, who died Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Rev. Stephen Ugwu officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife, Leah Racca Rost of Kaplan; one son, Bobby Rost of Gretna; three daughters, Ann Katharine Strain of Metairie, Deborah Bullock of Fort Wayne, IN, and Lisa Jones of Covington; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great grandchild on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Rost and the former Felice Hargrave.
