Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of James Carol Walker, 62, who died Monday, July 27, 2015 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Harrington Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Bobby Boffone, Harold Walker Jr., Carl Michael Walker, Brian Walker, Skyler Hines, Elijah Walker, Jackson Hall, and Caleb Townsend. Honorary pallbearers will be Gavin Hines, Haven Hines, Saige Hines, Elizabeth Hall, Ciera Townsend, Danny Townsend, and Riley Clark.

He is survived by his son, Jason Walker and his wife, Kathrynne of Lafayette; one step-son, Danny Townsend and his wife, Marisa of New Iberia; one daughter, Nicole Walker Hines and her husband, Kendall of Forked Island; two sisters, Cheryl Schultz of New Iberia and Cindy Bouillion of New Iberia; four brothers, Bobby Boffone, Harold Walker, Jr., Brian Walker, and Carl Michael Walker, all of New Iberia; and 14 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Walker; and his parents, Harold Walker and the former Ethel Deroche.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, July 31, 2015 from from 10 a.m. until the services with a rosary being 10:30 a.m.
