He will be laid to rest at Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Gregory Cormier officiating the services.
He is survived by his sons, Nick Lombes and his wife, Tamra, and Ryan Lombes; daughter, Tanya Edwards; sisters, Cecelia "Noonie" Lodrique and Mary Doment; and grandchildren, Brennan Lombes, Dylan Lombes, Naomi Treloar, Aubriana Lombes, and Asa Lombes.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deanna Lombes; parents, Climey Lombes and the former Annie Rink; brothers, Alvin Lombes and Jake Lombes; and sisters, Natalie Blakeman and Anna Mae Evans.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
