Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 at New Beginnings Primitive Baptist Church honoring the life of Anastasia Vallery Williams, 39, who died Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Rev. Trey Williams officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Michael Vallery, Carl Williams, Chris Johnson, Carlos McKinley, Donald-Peter Richard, and Gabriel Clement. Honorary pallbearers will be Fabian Vallery, NaDedrick Vallery, Rickey Mouton, and Taryll Mouton.
She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Carl Williams of Kaplan; two sons, NaDedrick Vallery of Kaplan and Kensley Vallery of Kaplan; one daughter, Carmycah Vallery of Kaplan; two sisters, Melanie and her husband, Jimmy Bell of Kaplan and Tomasita Vallery of Bastrop; two brothers, Michael Vallery and his wife, Stephine of Baton Rouge and Fabian Vallery of Bastrop; and host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael Ewell Vallery and the former Pearl Marie Mouton; two sisters, Myca Zsa Zsa Vallery and Iajohma "Jommy" Vallery; maternal grandparents, Dennis and Mable C. Mouton; and her paternal grandparents, James and Mary Vallery.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at New Beginnings Primitive Baptist Church, 622 East Veterans Memorial Drive, on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 8 a.m. until services.
