Maude Baudoin Villien

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery. Reverend William C. Blanda will be the Celebrant of the memorial Mass. Con Celebrant will be Reverend Donald Theriot and Deacon Paul Ray Eleazar.
She is survived by two sons, Fred O. Villien, Jr. and his wife, Ruth and Edward C. Villien and his wife, Debbie all of Abbeville; one daughter, Claire Villien Bohn and her husband, Dr. Barry Bohn of Lafayette; four grandchildren, Michael Bohn of Lafayette, Dianne Bohn Bourgeois and her husband, Chris of Baton Rouge, Edward C. Villien, Jr. of Houston and Rachel Villien Guidry and her husband, Marcel of Baton Rouge; two step grandchildren, Brandon Trent and his wife, Erin of Baton Rouge and Heather Trent of Washington, D.C.; and three great granchildren, Dianne Marie Bohn of Lafayette, Gabriel Bohn of Lafayette and Madeleine Guidry of Baton Rouge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred O. Villien, Sr.; parents, Theophile Baudoin and the former Maude LeBlanc; one sister, May Baudoin Gooch; and one brother, Walter Baudoin.
Maude was a charter member of the Woman's Club of Abbeville for more than 53 years. Her hobbies included playing bridge with friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 300 Pere Megret Street, on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial services.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Elementry School, 405 Park Ave, Abbeville, LA 70510 or to the Carmelite Monastarey, 1250 Carmel Ave., Lafayette, LA 70501.
