Kurt Adam Baggs

January 18, 1993 — February 13, 2009

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at 4:00 p.m. at Vincent Funeral Home in Abbeville honoring the life of Kurt Adam Baggs, 16, who died Friday, February 13, 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Art Bakeler officiating the services. Pallbearers include Michael Lancon, Benjie LaFleur, Travis LaFleur, Robert Stansbury, Jr., Joshua Breaux and Timothy Shake.

He is survived by his mother, Marlene LaFleur of Delcambre ; his father, Laurie Joseph Bailey, Jr. of Morgan City; a brother, Benjie LaFleur of Patterson; two sisters, Felecia Bailey and Faith Bailey, both of Morgan City; and a paternal step grandmother Paulette Bailey Cortez of Morgan City.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mary Fruge, and Charles LaFleur, step paternal grandfather, Laurie Bailey, Sr.

Kurt was a freshman at Delcambre High School. He was a native of and former resident of Stephansville. He recently moved to Delcambre.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
