Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Patrick “Wild Child” Matte, 44, who died Monday, September 21, 2015 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Bill Vincent officiating the services.

He is survived by his two sons, Jordan and Kameron Matte of Kaplan; his parents, LG and Mae Rose Matte of Kaplan; one sister, Susie and her husband, Paul Touchet of Kaplan; two brothers, Allen Matte and his wife, Julie of Kaplan and Aaron Matte and his wife, Susan of Port Neches; his fiancée, Lisa Blackman of Leakey, TX; and his best friend, Ryan Pitre of Cut Off.

He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Cheryl Ann Matte and Patricia Rose Matte.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 8 a.m. until services.
