Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Harold A. “Jim” Bouse, Jr., 81, who died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at his residence in Abbeville.
He will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery with Reverend William C. Blanda officiating the services.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jean Bouse of Abbeville; one son, Lynn A. Bouse and wife Kay of Bryan, TX; three daughters, Debbie B. Stewart of Lafayette, Trudie B. Kole and husband Mike of Maurice and Tana B. Wilson of Lafayette; nine grandchildren, Ryan Stewart, Hunter Kole, Alicia Rightmer, Shauntel Elmer, Keely Shreve, Kyra Stewart,Alisha Kole, Hallie Bernard and Shala Kole and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Bouse Sr. and the former Vallie Harrington; and a sister, Geraldine Jones.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
