Gueydan—Funeral services will be held Monday, September 28, 2015 at a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Alberta G. Touchet, 90, who died Friday, September 25, 2015 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Rev. Sam Fontana officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael W. Touchet of Carencro and Timothy C. Touchet of Mire; one sister, Dolores Saal of Gueydan; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Touchet Jr.; one son, Patrick J. Touchet; parents, Hennesy Paul Guzardo and the former Effie Suire; and one sister, Ruby Hanley.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 8 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. with a rosary being prayed 7 p.m.; Monday, September 28, 2015 from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
