Dolores Rung Lemaire

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2009 at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Dolores LeMaire, 70, who died Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She will be laid to rest at LeMaire Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

Mrs. LeMaire was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She was a talented painter, enjoyed to sew and was a wonderful cook.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, James Royley LeMaire of Lafayette; two sons, Mark O. LeMaire of Lafayette and Gadell K. LeMaire of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Mona L. and her husband Thomas "Bubba" C. King Jr. of Houma; her mother, Annette L. Rung of Kaplan; two brothers, Daniel Dean Rung and Jimmie Rung, both of Kaplan; four sisters, Louella LeMaire of Gonzales, Lomire Hebert of Kaplan, Venora Breaux of Houma, and Brenda Faulk of Kaplan; seven grandchildren, Jason LeMaire, Kristen and her husband Derrick Benham, Gabrielle LeMaire, Jared LeMaire, Brenna King, Saidee LeMaire, and Tayler King; one godchild, Angie Breaux; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leonce "Tib" Rung.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, March 6, 2009 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Saturday, March 6, from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
