Clement Duhon

November 23, 1927 — March 16, 2009

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Clement Duhon, 81, who died Monday, March 16, 2009 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Glenn Romero, Jerrod Romero, Lonnie Gaspard, Jamie Gaspard, Joshua Bourque and Taylor Bares.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dawson Bourque and Wyatt Bourque.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Lily Mae Duhon of Kaplan; one daughter, Sharon and her husband Glenn Romero of Kaplan; three grandchildren, Glenda and her husband Lonnie Gaspard, Shannon and her husband Joshua Bourque and Jerrod Romero and his wife Kasha, all of Kaplan; and six great grandchildren, Jamie Gaspard, Amanda Gaspard, Dawson Bourque, Wyatt Bourque, Taylor Bares and Julie Romero, all of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Duhon and the former Eugenia Harrington; one daughter, Edwina Duhon; one son, Shelby Leleux; and two brothers, John and Mahlan Duhon.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, March 16, 2009 from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, March 17, from 8 a.m. until services.
