Louise Baudoin Broussard

September 28, 1916 — March 15, 2009

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Louise Baudoin Broussard, 92, who died Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Maison du Monde Living Center.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.

She is survived by a son, Robert E. Broussard of Abbeville; three grandsons, Clint Broussard, Kelly Broussard and Todd Broussard, all of Lafayette; a great granddaughter, Lauren Broussard of New Orleans; a brother, John P. Baudoin of Abbeville; three sisters, Lucy Noel, Hazel Mouton and Deanna B. Peltier, all of Abbeville.

She was preceded in death by by her husband, Avery Broussard, her father, Otto Baudoin, her mother, Eva Broussard Baudoin, her brothers, Gladu, Curley and Maxie Baudoin.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, March 16, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. They will reopen on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
