She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Ronell Cheatham officiating the services.
She is survived by her three sons, Carl Ursin and his wife, Gwendolyn of Abbeville, Earn Ursin, Jr. and his wife, Shelia of Abbeville and Alexander P. Ursin and his fiancee, Paulette of Opelousas; three daughters, Gloria U. Mitchell of Abbeville, Marilyn U. Mitchell of Abbeville and Geraldine Reed and husband, Elvis of Abbeville; a stepson, Peter Dozier and his wife, Ann of Abbeville; three brothers, Worris Levine, Sr. and his wife, Shirley of Abbeville; Norman Levine, Sr. and his wife, Maxine of Abbeville; Earvine Levine and Enrick Levine and his wife, Martha of Opelousas; five sisters, Lilly Harrison of Abbeville; Linda Thibeaux and her husband, C.J. of Abbeville; Louella Collins of Abbeville; Ada Soto and her husband Frank of New Iberia and Joyce Andrus and her husband, Julien of New Iberia; sixteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earn Ursin, Sr., her parents , Langdon and Nolia Petry Levine, her children, Earnestine and Earn Ursin, a great granddaughter, Alyssa Landry; her brothers, Ellis,Warren and Floyd Levine; and one sister, Esther Levine.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.; they will reopen on Thursday, March 19, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
