Lucille Meaux Montet

November 8, 1934 — March 25, 2009

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Friday, March 27, 2009 at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Lucille Meaux Montet, 74, who died Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at her daughter's residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mitchell Guidry officiating the services.

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Montet Harrington and her husband Gary of Katy, Texas and Shelia Montet Duhon of Nunez; grandchildren, Brandy Harrington of Houston, Texas, Kristoffer Harrington of Katy, Texas, Erin Duhon of Nunez and Beau Duhon of Kaplan; one niece, Susan Meaux; and one great nephew, Corey Harrington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Meaux and the former Elnora Manceaux; brothers, Harry Meaux and Paul Chester Meaux; husband, Vernice "Moneg" Montet; son-in-law, Garland Duhon; and niece, Diana M. Campbell.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, March 26, 2009 from 10 a.m. until 10 pm with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Friday, March 27 from 8 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
