Brock Wade Huval

August 24, 1981 — April 1, 2009

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 3, 2009 at a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Brock Wade Huval, 27, who died Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at his residence.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend William C. Blanda officiating the services.

Brock will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Brock's faith was strong and unwavering. In his spare time he loved to draw. Brock was a former employee of the Vermilion Parish Clerk of Court Office. The family would like to thank the community for all their loving prayers and support.

He is survived by his mother, Annette Meaux Duhon and step father, Darren J. Duhon; father, Ricky Huval; two brothers, Jacob "J.D." Duhon and Ross Duhon; maternal grandmother, Deloris Meaux; paternal grandparents, Daniel Wade and Elda Huval; and step grandparents, Autrey and Brenda Duhon.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jeffery J. Meaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, April 2, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, April 3, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
