He will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Father Brian Harrington officiating the services.
He is survived by his loving wife Gail Stoute of 45 years from Abbeville; one son, Allen Ray “SweetPea” Stoute, Jr.; one daughter, Allison Stoute Hughes and her husband Chad Hughes of New Iberia; brother-in law who was loved more like a son, Larry J. Trahan and his wife Rosemary Trahan of Kaplan; three granddaughters, Lani Roy of Abbeville, Bailey and Laya Hughes of New Iberia; one grandson, Ashton Stoute of Abbeville; mother, Zoie Suire Stoute; ten half-sisters; and seven half-brothers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Stoute; in-laws, Lionel and Theresa Trahan of Abbeville; one half-sister; and four half-brothers.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 8:00 until time of services.
