Leonard "J.L." Joseph Morgan

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Brian Harringon officiating the services.
Pallbearers will be Jason Morgan, Roy C. Morgan III, Joshua Adams, Malcolm Morgan, Kevin Ardion and Clint Harrington. Honorary pallbearers will be Tiffany Broussard, Kimberly Broussard and Donna Campbell.
Leonard or J.L. as he was known, loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed watching football especially Vermilion Catholic and LSU. He was a member of the Knights of Colombus. His greatest passion was Judy, his wife of 52 years whom he loved very much.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judy L. Morgan of Abbeville; brothers, Tommy Morgan and his wife Janelle of Rayne and Wilbert Morgan and his wife Judy of Crowley; sisters, Marlene F. Adams of Kaplan, Elaine Morgan and Loretta Morgan both of Sulphur; ten godchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy C. Morgan, Sr. and the former Elsie Duhon; brother, Roy C. Morgan, Jr.; sister, Melba Morgan; in-laws, Elwood and Lora S. Lemaire; maternal grandparents, Erise and Anita Duhon; paternal grandparents, Poppa Moses and Momma Moses; nephews, Cobey J. Morgan Sr. and Kevin J. Morgan; and godchild, Eugene Harrington, Jr.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, December 21, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday December 22, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
