She will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery with Reverend Louis Richard officiating the services.
She is survived by her son, Danny Prejean and his wife Barbara of Gonzales; daughter, Donna Stokes and her husband Joel of Lafayette; brother, Adam Broussard of Abbeville; two sisters, Norah Broussard of Lafayette and Delta Simon of Abbeville; four grandchildren, Todd Prejean, Matt Prejean, Shane Motty and Ashley Dehart; and ten great grandchildren..
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ralph "Red" Whitley; parents, Ulysse Broussard and the former Madora Hebert; and brother, Ulysse Broussard, Jr..
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
