Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Dennis Guidry, 80, who died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Rev. Mark Miley officiating the services.

He is survived by his son, Rene Charles Guidry of Panama City, FL; one daughter, Angela G. and her husband, Randall P. LeBlanc of Kaplan; one sister, Earline Delcambre of Mermentau; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Guidry; one daughter, Genivia Ann Guidry; his parents, Rene Guidry and the former Margaret Porter; and numerous brothers and sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, December 28, 2015 from 8 a.m. until services.
