Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Leroy Simon, 84, who died Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Abbeville General Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Eula Mae Gaspard Simon of Forked Island; two sisters, Elise Romero of Kaplan and Beverly Trahan of Houston, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cestia Simon and the former Agnes Bourque; two brothers, Roul Simon and Pierre Simon; and two sisters, Enola Simon and Viola Duhon.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 8 a.m. until the service with a rosary being prayed 10:30 a.m.
