James Andrew Hebert

July 12, 1936 — April 9, 2009

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Catholic Church honoring the life of James Andrew Hebert, 72, who died Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Abbeville General Hospital.

He will be laid to rest at St. James Cemetery with Reverend Mathew Mullamangalam officiating the services.

Mr. Hebert was known for having a huge heart and a generous personality. He loved helping different organizations and supported many local charities.

He is survived by his two special relatives, Ronnie Comesana and Pat Rost who cared for him in his time of need. He is also survived by numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustave and Marie Broussard Hebert; and a aunt, Olive Harrington.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. James Catholic Church in Ester, Louisiana, on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.

The family would like to thank the staff at Vermilion Health Care and the nurses at Abbeville General Hospital ICU for the care they gave Mr. Hebert.
