Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2016 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Valarie Gaspard Senette, 55, who died Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She will be laid to rest at LeMaire Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Craig Gaspard, Matt Senette, Zack Senette, Drew Gaspard, Rhett Gaspard, and Brandon Lege. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Darryl Dartez.

She is survived by her parents, Nelton and Joyce Gaspard of Kaplan; her two sons, Matthew Senette of Centerville and Zachary Senette of New Iberia; one brother, Craig Gaspard and his wife, Gayla of Kaplan; and two granddaughters, Lanie Senette and Kaydee Senette.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Eudon and Felecie Gaspard; and her maternal grandparents, Boniface "Black" and Amelian Lege.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, January 4, 2016 from 8 a.m. until services.
