Abbeville— A memorial gathering will be held Friday January 15, 2016 honoring the life of Rena Fay Touchet, 64, who died Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She is survived by her son, Dwight David Touchet, Jr.; mother, Lovenia Schexnider Mire; two brothers, Steven Mire and Edward Mire; two sisters, Verna Bourque and Emily Gaspard; three grandchildren, David Touchet, Sasha Touchet and Marcus Touchet; and a great grandchild, Kaidan Touchet.

She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Mire; and a sister, Virginia Trahan.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
