Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Gueydan honoring the life of Dorothy Milliman Pinkard, 88, who died Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Solera at West Houston. She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Rev. Joe Hilbun officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, James S. Pinkard, Jr. and his wife, Lisa of West Virginia and Randall C. Pinkard and his wife, Rosemary of Katy, TX; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Sanford Pinkard, Sr.; one son, William Howeth Pinkard; and her parents.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.; Monday, January 11, from 9 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
