Francis Gerald Mire

—Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at Solid Rock Church of God honoring the life of Francis Gerald Mire, 67, who died Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Abbeville General Hospital. A gathering of friends and family will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary St. Amant Mire; three children, Michael Scott Mire, Monica Ann Hebert and husband Carl and Gerald Wayne Mire and wife Monica; two stepchildren, Kelly St. Amant and Jay Murphy and wife Amber; one brother, Cleveland Mire and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Jeanne Trahan Mire and two siblings.

Francis will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
