Ethel H. Stutes

November 5, 1937 — April 12, 2009

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 16, 2009 at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Ethel Hebert Stutes, 71, who died Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Ochsner Medical Center of New Orleans. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Randall Moreau officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Shelvin Stutes of Kaplan; one son, Randall Stutes and his wife Annette of Kaplan; two grandchildren, Alyssa Stutes and Rana Stutes both of Kaplan; her mother, Alice Hebert of Kaplan; and one brother, Dalton Hebert of Scott.

She was preceded in death by her father, Pervest Hebert; and one brother, Darell Hebert.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Thursday, April 16, from 8 am until 10:45 a.m. when the procession departs for church.
