Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Brian Patrick Theunissen, 30, who died Saturday, January 9, 2016 at his residence.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Louis Richard officiating the services.

He is survived by his parents, Stephen and Carole Theunissen; fiancee, Mandy Broussard; two brothers, Stephen James Theunissen and his wife Lindsi of Lafayette, and Jason Theunissen of Kansas City, MO; paternal grandmother, Velda Theunissen; two nieces, Kayley Theunissen and Karissa Theunissen; and nephew, Stephen Thomas Theunissen.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Devenia and Ray Connor, Sr.; and paternal grandfather, Pirmin Theunissen.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, January 18, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
