Abbeville— A gathering of family and friends will be held at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville honoring the life of Chad Antoine Mire, 55, who died Friday, January 29, 2016 at his residence.

He is survived by his two sons, Bryant "Bubba" Mire and his companion Kristen Perkins and Blake Mire; mother, Audrey Ann Trahan Mire; brothers, Newman "Nookie" Mire Jr., Antoine "Boo" Mire and Enoch "Bob" Mire; only granddaughter, Kenzley Nicole Mire; half sister, Sherry Mire; and two godchildren, Kristie Mire Abshire and Holli Mire.

He was preceded in death by his father, Newman "Crip" Mire Sr.; brother, John Mire; half sister, Terry Lane Abshire; paternal grandparents, John and Rosaline Guilbeaux Mire; and maternal grandparents, Aurelien and Emelia Leleux Trahan.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
