Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Alix LaBry Vincent, 88, who died Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Rev. Mark Miley officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Eugene Vincent of Kaplan; one daughter, Deborah and her husband, John Gravley of Lafayette; two sons, Ronald Vincent and his wife, Cynthia of Kaplan and Chris Vincent and his wife, Diane of Inwood, WV; eight grandchildren, Elizabeth Gravley, Ryan Vincent, Shane Vincent, Seth Vincent, Kyle Vincent, Julia Vincent, Christopher Vincent, and Jessica Vincent; four great grandchildren, Lily, Amelia, Nick, and Leigh Vincent; and two brothers, Edward LaBry and his wife, Beverly and Issac LaBry and his wife, Pearl.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney LaBry and the former Elida Meaux; and one brother, Dennis LaBry.

A special thanks to Kaplan Healthcare Center for the excellent quality care for the last six years and to Bridgeway Hospice for tending to our mother's needs during her last days.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 8 a.m. until services.
