She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Gregory Cormier officiating the services.
She is survived by her husband, Lorgie J. Peltier; son, Dale DeCuir and his wife, Cathy of Abbeville; two step-sons, Bradley Peltier and his wife, Tina of Erath, and Chris Peltier and his wife, Paulette of Abbeville; four daughters, Kay DeCuir of Abbeville, Varena DeCuir of Long Beach, CA, Avalona Moody and her husband, Weston of Mena, AR, and Trina Marceaux and her husband, Mark of Abbeville; two step-daughters, Janice Peltier of Abbeville, and Sarah Mire and her husband, Eddie of Abbeville; two sisters, Mabel Vercher of Maurice, and Hazel Feverjean of Kaplan; twenty-six grandchildren; and thirty great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Adams and the former Ava Meaux; son, William DeCuir; brothers, Watson Adams, and Henry Adams; and sister, Mildred Adams, and Watsina Adams.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
