Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2009 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Gloria Ann Pere Eleazar, 72, who died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend William C. Blanda officiating the services.

She is survived by a son, Henry Eleazar III; two daughters, Anne Eleazar and Mary Eleazar; three brothers, George, John and Joseph Eleazar; three sisters, Helen LaGrange, Judy Harrington and Melissa Pere; two grandsons, Jackson and Charles Gates

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Eleazar, Jr.; and Mr. and Mrs. John and Lucille Greene Pere.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to prayed at 7:00 p.m. They will reopen on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. until time of service
