Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Monday, May 4, 2009 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Lucille Norma Benoit Fruge, 85, who died Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Eastridge Nursing Center.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend William C. Blanda officiating the services.

She is survived by two sons, Dr. Daniel Ray Fruge, Phd. of Wilmington, Delaware and Brother Steven Edmond Fruge, C.Ss.R. of Tucson, Arizona; brother, Joseph Dois of Zachary; and two sisters, Iris Benoit of Abbeville and Irene Benoit of Oakland, California.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Fruge; father, Gilbert Benoit and mother, Edolia Luquette Benoit; brother, Numa Benoit.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Monday, May 4, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
