Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Mary Hebert Steen, 85, who died Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Hebert Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, Randy Steen of Gainesville, FL and Tommy Hebert and his wife, Olga of Ponchatoula; two daughters, Sharon Pierce of Houma and Earline Bowers of Lafayette; one step-daughter, Debra Steen of New Orleans; one brother, Harry Lee Hebert of Ocean Springs, MS; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton J. Steen; one step-son, Elton J. Steen, Jr.; three sisters; two brothers; and her parents, Otto Hebert and the former Amanda Vincent.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 10 a.m. until services with a rosary being prayed at 11:30 a.m.
