She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Louis Richard officiating the services.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Romero and his wife Linda, sister, Delta Trahan; grandchildren, Chris St. Julien and her husband Doug, Jadie Breaux and Chase Romero and his wife Crystal; and great grandchildren, Kullan Romero, Kayne Breaux, Kanyon St. Julien, Mia St. Julien, Addison St. Julien, Chase Romero, Jr. and Cruz and Cash Romero.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Romero; parents, Alcide Trahan and the former Hilda Hargrave; son, Larry; and a sister, Helen Abshire.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, March 31, 2016 8:30 a.m. until time of services with a rosary to be prayed at 10:00 a.m.
