He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Bryon Soley officiating the services.
He is survived by his brothers, James Meaux and Norris Meaux; son-in-law, Emery Landry; and three grandchildren, Phillip Landry, Hannah Landry and Caleb Meaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarphy and Bella Meaux; son, Francis Meaux; daughter, Lynette M. Landry; and a sister, Rose Amy Meaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday March 30, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
