Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 7, 2016 at a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Eliza Mathiew Boulet, 93, who died Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.
She is survived by her three daughters, Linda and her husband, Kenneth Gaspard of Kaplan, Joann and her husband, Mike Debaillon of Lafayette, and Nancy LeJeune of Kaplan; one sister, Noamie Simon of Kaplan; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Joyce Mathiew of Kaplan and Ida Stelly of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Woodley Boulet, Sr.; her parents, Tertule Mathiew and the former Euzeide Abshire; two sons, James Boulet, Jr. and John O'Neal Boulet; one grandson, John Ian Boulet; one son-in-law, Mark Daniel LeJeune; one sister, Eunice LeBlanc; and one brother, Eutis Mathiew.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 8 a.m. until services.
