John will be remembered for his contagious laughter and kind-hearted soul. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his soul friend of 31 years, Corona Romero; parents, Joseph and Olita Frederick of Abbeville; brother, Joseph Frederick, Jr. of Abbeville; two sisters, Janette Trahan of Maurice, and Maxine Dupuy and her husband Elwood of Lafayette; godchildren, Ryan Frederick, Anthony Morales, Justin Manceaux, and Reese Meaux; nieces and nephews, Tricia Manceaux, Ryan Frederick, Jill Doucet, and Andrea Faulk; and seven great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his many aunts and uncles.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 p.m.; Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
