Lou Ella Landry

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Lou Ella Montet Landry, 75, who died Thursday, May 7, 2009 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Paul Roy Eleazar officiating the services.

She is survived by three sons, Jackie Landry, Patrick Landry, and Mike Landry and his wife Tonya, all of Kaplan; six grandchildren, Kontonya Hulin of St. Martinville, Johanna Landry of Kaplan, Shane Landry of Kaplan, Travis Landry of Kaplan, Colt Landry of Abbeville, and Kruz Landry of Kaplan; and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace "Bee" Landry; her brother, Vernice "Moneg" Montet; and her parents, Elton and Eunice Montet.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, May 8, 2009 from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Saturday, May 9, from 8 a.m. until services.
