Shirley Ann Broussard Morvant

Chaplin David Rousse will be officiating the services. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, John Morvant; two daughters, Nanette Comeaux and Debra Morvant of Abbeville; son, Christopher John Morvant and partner Dr. Alan Leung of San Francisco, CA; her loving and caring siblings, James Harris Broussard of New Iberia and Goldie Broussard and husband Brad of Abbeville, who never left her side; three grandchildren, Damanica Comeaux, Damion Comeaux and wife Kimberly and Danielle Comeaux and fiancee Damion Fletcher all of Abbeville; seven great grandchildren, Ajah Cox, D.J. Campbell, Kameron Levine, Damion Comeaux, Jr., Niles Comeaux, Ahna Fletcher and baby Dillon Comeaux all of Abbeville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcel J. and Lelia LeBlanc Broussard; her in laws, Onedias and Nella Morvant; two sister in laws, Brenda Floyd Broussard and Peggy Cook Morvant.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Louisiana, Chaplin David Rousse, Melody, Julie and Sandra for all the love and support.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, May 11, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
