Enola Sonnier Broussard

November 1, 1918 — May 10, 2009

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church honoring the life of Enola Sonnier Broussard, 90, who died Sunday, May 10, 2009 at her residence.

She will be laid to rest at Leroy Cemetery with Rev. Gregory Simien officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Leonard and Jerry Breaux, Francis Sonnier, Jr., Chris Broussard, John Broussard and Bruce Sonnier.

She is survived by her husband, Preston J. Broussard a sister, Fadrey Breaux and a step son, Jimmy Dale Broussard.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Brasseaux; daughter, Millie Ann Brasseaux; father, Alcee Sonnier; mother, Adela Hebert Sonnier; four brothers, Francis, Sabrey, Dalton and Loyba Sonnier; and a step son, Preston John "PJ" Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, May 11, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
