Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Nicolas Belaire Fontenot, 50, who died Thursday, April 21, 2016 at his residence.

He will be laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Deacon William "Billy" Vincent officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Terry H. Fontenot; daughter, Sarah Beth Fontenot of Colorado; and two grandchildren, Bryson Franks and Cloe' Franks both of Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Huey Fontenot and the former Shirley Abshire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, April 22, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.; Saturday, April 23, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
