She is survived by her parents, Sandra and Steven Simon of Kaplan; her companion, T.J. Longshore of Conroe, TX; one sister, Valerie and her husband, Kevin Marceaux of Abbeville; one nephew, Brenden Marceaux; three nieces, Taylor Marceaux, MaKenzie "Kenzie" Marceaux, and Rylee Marceaux; her maternal grandmother, Lucy LeLeux; her extended grandparents, Louise and Bennie Como; her godfathers, Larry Adams and Allen Romero; her godmother, Gwen LeLeux; her aunts and uncles, Debbie and Patrick Simon, Janice and Mike Simon, Joe Simon, Donna and Mark Flanakin, and Brenda Lafose; her cousins, Deidre Adams, Skye Hair, Jessica Hair, Joelle Adams, and Destiny Hair; her loving and faithful dog, Hoagie; and her very close friends, Jeremy, Nicole, Marcus, Blake, Scooby, Bailey, Chad, and Krystal.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Joseph D. LeLeux; one uncle, Joel LeLeux; her godmother, Patricia Adams; great aunt, Willie B. Uze; paternal grandparents, Opal and Martin Simon; one cousin, Genevieve Uze; and her companions mother, Celia Lea Barnett.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m.; Friday, May 6, 2016 from 8 a.m. until services.
